ATTENTION POSTMASTERS/MANAGERS

Transitional carrier (TE) employees who have completed 180 days of employment as a TE will have the opportunity to take the Battery Examination 473 for the position of City Carrier.  Only one such opportunity is provided to each eligible TE for the carrier entrance register that serves the installation where currently employed.  

TE’s may request the examination by submitting a written request to the Hiring and Testing Office (request form is attached for your convenience).  Include the following information on your request: 

(1) your complete name;

(2) current mailing address and phone #;

(3) social security number;

(4) post office where employed. 

PLEASE NOTE:  YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED AS A TE CARRIER AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
